Protecting Information Systems that Support IT and Critical Infrastructures: Protecting information systems that support business enterprises is of national and global priority. The challenge is exacerbated in protecting critical infrastructures such as industrial control systems where the control systems are geographically distributed and vulnerable to cyber attacks. Kaelo software addresses the high cost associated with knowledge mining from natural text, i.e., Text Analytics. Using text and knowledge mining technology, the company has developed KaeloŽ - An Automated Corporate Governance Rating System software that automates the process used to measure the effectiveness of the board of directors and executives of public companies. KaeloŽ software can empower investors, regulators, and analysts to assess the risks associated with board effectiveness in governance/ethics, compensation, auditing, and finance.
